Velocidade (Throughput)

O tráfego total na rede entre estações (seu PC e um computador remoto) por unidade de tempo.

Pode-se medir a taxa de transferência nas duas direções independentemente.

A velocidade é usualmente medida em Kilobits por segundos(Kbps) ou Megabits por segundo (Mbps). 

Maior velocidade indica que mais dados podem ser transmitidos por segundo.
 
Como alguns sites apresentam a taxa de download em Kb/s (Kilobytes por segundo) ,
veja abaixo tabela que relaciona estas unidades.

É uma ferramenta que pode ajudar a localizar os remetentes de spam.

Muitas ferramentas, como nslookup, whois e traceroute, já realizam um trabalho parecido, mas a Sam Spade permite usá-las por meio de uma interface gráfica. 

Além disso, as informações fornecidas por uma delas podem ser usadas por outra. 

A ferramenta SMTP Verify ajuda a verificar a validade de um endereço eletrônico, útil para saber se a mensagem faz parte de uma trilha de spam. 

Outro recurso interessante envia pacotes HTTP para o servidor Web do provedor de tempos em tempos, para manter a conexão discada ativa. 

Também faz parte do pacote um navegador Web. 

Uma consulta ao site abuse.net também identifica se um endereço de e-mail está listado em sua base de dados.
